BACKGROUND
0-15: He was born in Cormount in a middle-low class family. When he was very young, his parents performed a ritual at a nearby Ayleid ruin to bind a spirit residing there to him. He was kept inside most of the time, locked away. When he could get out, he would spend his time with Lym exploring near the city and talking about the future. He had a magical aptitude, but it was incontrollable. He would accidentally suck the life from nearby creatures, or spark with lightening, if he got angry. He was also very quick to anger.

16-29: Dominion recruiters came to town, and he decided to join the army. He hoped that they would be able to help him control his magic, which they did. He showed himself to be a valuable and powerful asset, and became an Eye of the Queen after a while.
​
29-33: He was stationed in North Elsweyr to help with the dragon problem when he was severely injured. He had to go on medical leave in Rimmen to recover. While there, he met Lym and reconnected. He continued to work as a soldier, though also opened a jewelry store. He had a fiance and was going to become a father, but the children were lost before birth and the fiance left soon after. He learned that he was bound with an Ayleid spirit.

34+: On a mission for the Dominion, he was taken prisoner. It had happened before, but this time they were prepared for him with anti-magic and other precautions. He was tortured for information and couldn't escape. As a last resort, he and the Ayleid possessing him attempted to combine, resulting in a magical overload and explosion. After the integration, he became a different person, named Urbellas by Aren who found and healed him after the incident. They have lived together since.
