0-12: Loren grew up in Velyn Harbor with a semi-large family. He did not fit in well growing up, liking the fancy attire of passing merchants and nobles. He did not get along well with his parents, who were fairly traditional. He was associated with the mages guild when he was around 10.

13-18: Loren came to not like his body and wanted to change it, but his parents disagreed. He left home at 16 to travel to Hew's Bane, where he joined the thieves guild and started a new life. He raised money and saved up to eventually change his body. He's continued to work with the thieves guild, and learn from the mage's guild. 

19+: His attraction to alcohol and eagerness to bed people started to cause tension in the thieves guild, especially when he was caught in the bed of multiple guardsmen. When he was around 26, he was encouraged to distance himself from the guild, so he opened a clothing store in Hew's Bane. He still accepted private jobs for disguises, though. Later on, he reconnected with J'Dhannar, a friend in the guild, who hired him on to Shadow's Favored in Blackwood.
